Tenosynovitis va disability percentages11/21/2023 If you are suffering from a secondary condition in addition to your service-related disability, your disability rating from the VA could likely be higher than it currently is. Although secondary conditions may not directly result from service-related events or injuries, if the VA can establish a connection between these problems and a service-related disability, secondary conditions can make a Veteran eligible to receive more benefits each month. If a Veteran is suffering from mental or physical problems stemming from a service-related disability, these problems can lead to an additional grant for service connection, and therefore, could also potentially increase a Veteran’s overall disability rating. Why Secondary Conditions MatterĪ secondary condition can influence the disability rating that a Veteran receives from the VA. It could also be a condition that developed as a result of a service-related injury – in some circumstances, a Veteran’s disability makes them more susceptible to other problems that stem directly from their service-related injury or experience. A secondary condition could have been something a veteran suffered from before they entered the military that was worsened by a service-related injury. The VA refers to these problems as secondary conditions.Ī secondary condition, according to the VA, is any physical or psychological problem that is worsened by a service-related disability. However, the VA also acknowledges that a Veteran’s disability can give way to other issues, which may not be directly service-related. The VA grants disability benefits to Veterans suffering from service-related disabilities – physical and mental problems that are directly linked to an event or injury that happened during a Veteran’s time in the military. Because disabilities, both physical and mental, have such a significant effect, a veteran can seek additional disabilitiy benefits on the theory of secondary service connection. Disabilities can interfere with a Veteran’s ability to work, maintain a healthy social life and relationships, and go through life normally. If a Veteran is suffering from a physical or psychological disability, this condition can have a massive negative impact on their life. It could also be a condition that developed as a result of a service-related injury – in some circumstances, a Veteran’s disability makes them more susceptible to other problems that stem directly from their service-related injury or experience. These benefits can make a massive difference, helping a disabled Veterans remain financially stable and allowing them to take care of their loved ones and themselves. Because disabilities, both physical and mental, have such a significant effect, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA) seeks to provide disabled veterans with tax-free benefits. VA News What Is a Secondary Condition, According to the VA? § 4.71a, Diagnostic Code 5024.VA Disability: List of Common Secondary Conditions Posted by Tenosynovitis is rated on limitation of motion of the affected parts, as arthritis, degenerative. In the present case, the Veteran's knee disabilities have been rated as analogous to tenosynovitis under Diagnostic Code 5024. Pertinent regulations do not require that all cases show all the findings specified by the Rating Schedule, but that findings sufficiently characteristic to identify the disease and the resulting disability and above all, coordination of rating with impairment of function will be expected in all cases. This is what I found from a Google Search of 5099-5024:ĭiagnostic Code 5099 represents an unlisted disability requiring rating by analogy to one of the disorders listed under 38 C.F.R.

Versa odyssey putter11/21/2023 Our black and white high contrast Versa alignment system has dominated on Tours all over the world. The White Hot Versa Double Wide is a double bend face-balanced putter best suited for strokes with minimal arc and face rotation. The putters will be available for purchase 2/10/23 with a price of $2 Odyssey White Hot Versa Seven Putter If you love it, you will love it, that is part of the beauty of Versa. However, for those who do struggle with face alignment and give the contrasting visual a chance, they will likely fall head over heels for what it does to their scores. Versa isn’t going to be for everyone, it wasn’t last time around and there is nothing which says it will be drastically different in 2023. Additionally, forward weights on the sole help optimize the stability and CG of the putters ensuring they live up to the Odyssey standard of performance. Every shape has a premium finish with specific attention paid to the transition of the colors to keep crisp and clean visuals. White Hot Versa Three Tįinally, based on early images we have seen and Odyssey’s telling of the story themselves, the aesthetics are being done to the proper level this time around. Another, however, is using the true White Hot insert, and not the more firm variation utilized back in 2013 which may have been more polarizing than the look ever was. One aspect which will undoubtedly aid Versa in re-emerging on the scene with amateurs is the inclusion of the striking Red Stroke Lab shaft which absolutely stands out visually almost as much as it does in terms of performance. They are also joined by the new Three T which takes its shaping base from the Toulon Atlanta (with some massaging) as well as the Twelve, a shape that at its root is a “filled in” Seven and possesses the only parallel B/W/B alignment scheme of the release. Yes, the One and Double Wide are present, as is the Seven with DB and S versions. So, in 2023 there are five head shapes and eight models coming to retail. Part of that was too many models and too many line variations (parallel and perpendicular options) that were confusing to the golfer and cumbersome for retailers to get a clear message across. Odyssey is quick to admit that when Versa made its debut in 2013 there were some issues with it, not so much in performance, but rather the overall package. So yes, Versa is back, but if you paid attention to the return of White Hot with the OG release, then you should already know it is returning with much needed improvements and streamlining. While so many focus on pace, if your alignment is off even fractions of degrees, the best pace in the world still won’t prevent you from missing your target significantly. The tagline “The Path to Better Alignment is Black and White” centers around that data, and rightfully so. The zebra look has a rhyme and a reason as internal testing from Odyssey has shown that the black and white contrasting lines are so effective at showing even the most minute face alignment woes that it is 67% more effective than a putter without it. You see, in putting, alignment is King, and even those who are the absolute 1% of golfers on the planet like having easy and accurate feedback on it. The “striped” look was a love it or leave it kind of release for many, however, what if I told you that in 2022 there was a Versa in play on a Tour over 1,100 times? Among internet golfers and self-proclaimed purists, the designs were source of significant debate and discussion. If you look back on the Versa and its introduction in 2013, you will see an interesting tale. Oh, and that moment 12 years ago when they re-took the throne? That coincided with Versa. So, with that history it is no wonder that in 2023 we are seeing the return of Versa from Odyssey Golf. No putter company has done a better job of listening to consumer desires and thus being willing to bring back massively popular innovations like White Hot while still pushing forward. We took a deep dive into the dominance of Odyssey Golf, here. In fact, that has been the story for about 12 years, when Odyssey re-established themselves as alpha in the putter world. More interesting than that? They did it with 70% of the play being from non-sponsored golfers. In 2022 Odyssey was the number one putter on every single Tour. Perhaps no company knows that struggle better than Odyssey Golf. Golf manufacturers are constantly navigating the ever-winding road of balancing riding a successful design with continually evolving and innovating.

Bei jing chinese food farmingdale11/21/2023 We did, however, eat some decent renditions of traditional Azerbaijani dishes, like dovga, an herby rice yogurt soup and a bowl of lamb meatballs floating in a chickpea studded broth, kofta bozbash. I was determined to find out what smugglers order for dinner around here, but my quest remained unanswered. I overheard an odd blend of languages: Russian, Hebrew, and Farsi. Faces peered out from the depressing plastic greenery lining the lattice walled dining room. I ordered the borscht and Georgian cheese bread, sizing up the room and pointing to whatever other tables were eating. I've never tried this type of food before, guppy seeds and all.įor me, short, thickset men puffing-or deeply inhaling-cigarettes as they wheel suitcases everywhere they go give off a definite smuggler type of vibe. Apparently, the restaurant, Kavkaz, is Azerbaijani-a country previously under Soviet rule located in the Caucasus with a large Turkic and Muslim population. I stopped in front of a building covered with photos of kebabs to stare at one particular photograph of salmon roe caviar that had been translated as "guppy seeds." I started uncontrollably laughing until an angry young guy stepped outside to see what all the fuss was about. The food around Yabaolu is the shit if mutton is your thing.Ī few weeks after my first visit, I couldn't keep myself away. It felt like an amalgam of Silk Road bling, Chinese dining etiquette, and Stalin-era Soviet culinary arts. Herring and pickle plates were delivered to my table with a Kazakh iteration of plov-a rice, meat, and carrot casserole bathed in lamb fat that's Uzbekistan's national dish-and spicy Sichuan chicken. On the back wall of the restaurant, I looked over to find a large TV screen projecting non-stop Russian TV beyond the karaoke stage. The silver brocaded chairs made me feel like I was hanging out at a Long Island wedding palace rather than 80 kilometers from the Gobi Desert. There were no Chinese people in the restaurant except the waitstaff. Despite the large community of Russians living in Beijing, the customers in this neighborhood are usually fanny-pack toting Muscovites fresh from a visit to the fur mall. I decided to hit up a restaurant called Astana, advertised as "Beijing's first ever Kazakh restaurant," and was greeted by a teenage punk kid who tried to upsell me on the cheap vodka they had. The silver brocaded chairs made me feel like I was hanging out at a Long Island wedding palace rather than 80 kilometers from the Gobi Desert.īut karaoke could wait-my appetite could not. There are three malls dedicated to selling furs and discount fashions to visiting, wealthy Russians, and even a Russian-themed karaoke club called Sim Sim. In Yabaolu, Russian is the lingua franca most of the local Chinese shop owners and taxi drivers speak the language really well. By 2000, as a friendly gesture to honor China's affection for Russian oil and gas, the Russian Market returned to the Yabaolu District-close to the very large Russian embassy. Its associations with loose women and robberies lingered until the late 90s, when Beijing experienced another influx of Russian tourists, businessmen, and small cross-border traders and smugglers. As a result, the Chaoyang District became known as the Russian Market, an area that gained a classy reputation for petty crime and prostitution. I came across a lot of borscht and caviar joints, but this district is also home to a slew of palatial central Asian restaurants serving Chinese riffs on Russian food.Īfter the Russian Revolution, Beijing became home to a large number of fleeing Russians, dubbed 'Cossacks' by the Chinese. In general, being surrounded by animal fur makes me salivate-don't ask-but Russians are not too adventurous with their food and generally stick with hometown flavors: mayonnaise coated salads (and by coated, I mean doused) and smoked meats.

Yellowstone netflix season 2 episodes11/21/2023 “Our strategy to franchise our biggest linear hits in real time to supercharge Paramount Plus has far exceeded expectations, with ‘1883’ and ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ already breaking records,” Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of ViacomCBS Media Networks & MTV Entertainment Studios, said. Sheridan’s “Mayor of Kingstown” was previously renewed for Season 2. Paramount Plus is eyeing a 2022 production start for the potential show. MTV Entertainment Studios, Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions, Oyelowo’s Yoruba Saxon, and 101 Studios will produce. It will be executive produced by Sheridan, David Oyelowo, Jessica Oyelowo, David Permut, David C. Reeves was known as the greatest frontier hero in American history and is also believed to be the inspiration for “The Lone Ranger.” Reeves worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded. “Bass Reeves” is a limited series, currently in the development stage, that will bring the legendary lawman of the wild west to life with Oyelowo attached to star as Reeves. Braden Aftergood is also set to executive produce. It will be executive produced by Sheridan, Terence Winter, Stallone, Glasser, Burkle, Yari and Hutkin. The series marks Stallone’s first starring television role. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet. The previously announced “Tulsa King” (formerly known as “Kansas City”), starring Sylvester Stallone, follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), who, as he’s released from prison after 25 years, is unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Kidman, with her production company Blossom Films, Saldaña, Kosinski and Jill Wagner are also set to executive produce. Tom Brady will also serve as executive producer and showrunner. It will be executive produced by Sheridan, Glasser, Burkle, Yari and Hutkin. Saldaña plays Joe, a strong-willed, hard-nosed, station chief of the CIA’s Lioness Program, tasked with training, managing and leading her female undercover operatives working to assassinate the world’s most dangerous terrorists. “Lioness” is based on a real-life CIA program and follows a marine recruited to befriend the daughter of a terrorist to bring the organization down from within. Thornton will lead the series as a crisis manager for an oil company.īased on the notable 11-part podcast “Boomtown,” it will be executive produced by Sheridan, Glasser, Burkle, Yari, Geyer Kosinki and David Hutkin. The series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires that are fueling a boom so big it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics. “Land Man” is set in the proverbial boomtowns of west Texas and is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. Additionally, “Bass Reeves,” starring David Oyelowo, is eyeing a 2022 start. “Tulsa King,” starring Sylvester Stallone, will hit Paramount Plus in the fall, while “Land Man,” which will star Billy Bob Thornton, and “Lioness,” which has set Zoe Saldaña as its lead and hails from executive producer Nicole Kidman, will debut in 2023. ViacomCBS, soon to be renamed Paramount, revealed the “1883” and “1932” news during its investor day Tuesday, and gave several other updates regarding shows from Sheridan produced under his overall deal with MTV Entertainment Studios.

Vinyl record storage holder11/21/2023 Once you have the basic rectangles cut, the rest is fast and easy. A decent handsaw will cut out all the parts too - with a healthy dollop of elbow grease, of course. Most independent lumber stores will be more than willing to make cuts for a small charge. Once that’s done, you can do the rest of the project with simpler tools. Image used with permission by copyright holderĭon’t feel like jigsawing everything yourself? An alternative is to take the drawing below to your local hardwood retailer and ask if they will crosscut your pieces to rough length and “rip” them to the exact widths you need. The beauty of this project is that you can make all the same cuts with a jigsaw (though you’ll likely end up with rougher edges that will need more sanding). We began by chopping our pieces to rough length using our trusty miter saw, and then cut them to width on a table saw - but don’t worry if you don’t have access to a table saw. If you’re going this same route and using one board for the whole project, you’ll need a slab that’s at least 60 inches in length. We went with the latter option and started with a single hardwood board, roughly 1 inch thick and 10 inches wide, though a slightly thinner or narrower board would work too. You can embark on this project in one of two ways: either start with multiple smaller boards of the same thickness, or use one large board and chop it up to create the pieces you need. Step-by-Step Build Process Step 1: Get some wood and cut it to create your four pieces Miter Saw (capable of cutting 10-inch boards).Hardwood slab (roughly 1 inch thick, 10 inches wide).Tools and Materials Image used with permission by copyright holder
